# How do I reset my password?

## If you've forgotten your password, you can easily reset it through the login page.

**Step-by-step instructions:**

01. Go to [Kin.com](http://kin.com/) and click **Log In**  
02. On the login page, click **Forgot your password?** (below the password field)  
03. Enter your email address (the one on file with your policy)  
04. Click **Send Reset Password Instructions**  
05. Check your email for a message from Kin with the subject "Set Your Kin Password"  
06. Click the link in the email (this link expires after 24 hours)  
07. Create a new password that meets these requirements:  
    - Between 8 and 128 characters  
    - At least 1 lowercase letter  
    - At least 1 uppercase letter  
08. Click **Reset Password**  
09. You'll be redirected to the login page  
10. Log in with your new password
